Spectrum Search are currently searching for a Data & Analytics Lead, the role will lead the data and analytics team to support the strategy and goals for our clients digital OTT platforms. You will build a dynamic team consisting of backend data engineers and front-end analysts to help make data-driven decisions across every aspect of the business, for a leading international broadcaster for a hugely exciting, digital OTT project with a focus on Entertainment, to be based out of either the London or Paris office.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Hire and lead a team of 11 engineers and analysts to build and manage the OTT Data Platform.
  • Structure the team’s org chart, including your direct reports, to best optimize the workflow.
  • Support business goals of customer acquisition, content engagement, user retention, content acquisition ROI, product development ROI and optimal financial budget and planning.
  • Own the overall data and analytics roadmap working closely with senior executive stakeholders to define measurable objectives and KPIs and ensure data provides actionable insights to increase business goals.
  • Provide guidance and review on team member dashboards and reports to ensure data accuracy, correct statistical methodology and optimal visual presentation.
  • Evaluate and assess various analytic tools for data warehouse systems, CRM, CMS, video analytics, product and marketing measurement tools, BI visualizations, A/B testing and social media aggregators.


What we are looking for:

  • 10+ years’ experience in a relevant BI/Analytics role in OTT, Digital Media and/or Entertainment
  • 5+ years managing a team of at least 3 direct reports
  • Ability to translate high-level objectives into the details. 
  • Experience with most of our key data platform components and sources: Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud services, GA360, Conviva or MUX, Braze, Batch, Zuora.
  • Knowledge of BI Visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker, Microsoft BI, Cognos
  • Ideal candidates will have experience adhering to data security and privacy rules (GDPR or other similar legal codes) and be extra cautious on how data is handled.
  • English language fluency; Arabic and other language skills extremely valuable
  • Degree or equivalent experience
